Terms of service
Last updated 2026-09-02 — pending counsel review.
Basis Radar is operated by von Euler LLC, a New York limited liability company ("we", "us"). By accessing basisradar.com or any of its data services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you agree to these terms on its behalf.
The data
Our datasets are assembled from public government sources (HUD, USDA, OCC, FFIEC, SEC, USASpending, the U.S. Census Bureau, and state agencies). We process, link, and correct these sources on a best-effort basis. Source vintages are displayed alongside figures; underlying records may contain errors introduced by the original filers. Data is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
No advice
Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax, or professional advice. Figures such as readiness ranks and timeliness proxies are documented sorting heuristics, not recommendations or assessments of any property, company, or security.
Use of the data
You may use data from the free Services for research, evaluation, and internal business purposes, with attribution to Basis Radar. The following require a commercial agreement with us: systematic or automated scraping; bulk redistribution of the dataset or any substantial portion of it; and resale or republication of the data, standalone or within another product. Contact details surfaced by the Services are business contacts drawn from government filings and may not be used for unsolicited bulk communication in violation of applicable law (including CAN-SPAM and the TCPA).
Accounts
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials, and for all activity that occurs under the account. Accounts are for a single person; a shared login may not be used by multiple people. You must provide a valid email address. We are not liable for loss arising from your failure to secure your account.
Payment, refunds, and plan changes
Free features are free: using them requires no payment details. When we offer paid plans: fees are charged at the start of each billing cycle; if you cancel, you retain access through the end of the paid period and are not charged again; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods as a matter of course, but if you believe circumstances warrant one, contact us and we will take a fair look. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective from your next billing cycle.
Cancellation and termination
You may cancel an account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including the data-use restrictions above, with notice where practicable. We reserve the right to refuse the Services to anyone for any lawful reason.
Ownership
The underlying government records are public information. The compilation — our resolution of records across sources, corrections, derived metrics, software, and presentation — is the property of von Euler LLC. These terms do not grant you any right to use the Basis Radar name or branding without written permission.
Changes to the Services and these terms
We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. When we make a significant change we will refresh the date at the top of this page and, for account holders, take reasonable steps to provide notice. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Warranty disclaimer
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any data is complete, current, or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, von Euler LLC and its members, officers, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including lost profits and business interruption — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services or the data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.
